As you look at your life at the beginning of this new year and this new season,

  • Do you feel disheartened, discouraged, frustrated or stuck in one or more areas of your life?

  • Do you long for greater wholeness, healing and transformation?

  • Do you feel you have begun your healing journey but don't know where to turn next?

  • Are you looking for something you can do together with your life partner to grow both individually and in relationship to one another?
  •
Are you ready to take the next step towards the life you were created to live?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, "Opening Yourself to the Life You Long For" might be a gift from the Spirit to you.

What you can look forward to if you enroll in the program:

  • A better understanding of yourself and others and thus more "grace", compassion and acceptance
  • More connection to your emotions and a sense of how to feel them, honor them, and release them without letting them take control of your life
  • A greater sense of empowerment, choice, inner strength, groundedness and "center"
  • A common language and common tools if done with a life partner that can enhance relationships
  • An amplified or even transformed view of what is possible for your life and for the world
  • A deeper relationship with the Spirit and a greater ability to receive healing from the Light

There are two pieces of this program which are mentioned above.  Contact Me For More Info

Walking the Red Road, and the Ceremony of the Fire Pit

Being Like Jesus in an NDN Way

Fire When I was a boy there was a TV show called Kung Fu. It was about a Chinese Priest traveling the southwest. He would stop and help people along his travels by fighting the bad guys, and giving wise teachings, and then walking away playing his flute.

When I read of Jesus, I saw him doing much the same thing. He walked dusty roads from town to town feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and battling demons, but without all those fancy kicks.

The early church did this same relational ministry, going from house to house, having meals with people, praying with them, talking about love, and then putting into action those teachings of love. Christianity was simple. It continued to spread even when the Roman Empire tried to eradicate it.

This Christianity of loving relationships spread without fancy seminaries, crystal cathedrals, big budget TV ministries or the Internet. But today’s majority culture church has turned the teachings of Jesus into a big business constantly needing large sums of money to be run. Give us your money and you will be blessed they say. They manipulate and scare people to the point of abuse. How did that happen?

How far we came from Jesus simply walking a dusty road to the next town to feed the people and tell them Creator loves them.

I am blessed to have Willie as my mentor and friend.  Willie challenges me in the areas I need grow and gives me the grace/space necessary for self-discovery.  He has helped me realize what is true and what is false about my story and also made me aware of unconscious assumptions that have been detrimental to my growth.

As a result, I am developing a foundation of good character and a deeper connection/dependence to God.  Willie’s council is wise, his rebuke is loving, his caring is genuine, and his time is generous.  He has my love and respect.

Broken Pots PDF Print E-mail

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.  But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.  'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'

The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?' 'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.'

For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.
